Basic camera tools for video journalists

I’ve been working on VJTV since 2001. Initially it was a public access TV show in San Francisco focused on showcasing amazing visuals and VJs from around the world. We quickly added a website (vjtv.net) to show clips, but it never really grew from there. In 2008 I decided to try a blog format, but services like Vimeo channels and Twitter have since made this format slightly obsolete for basic video posts.

I have some fun ideas of what vj.tv version 3 will be but it will take some time and resources to get it in place. As I picture it now, it will be a YouTube like service for video DJs. Video mixes seem to have greater rights than audio mixes so I think there’s room and opportunity for it.
